Rules for Online Communication
Our goal is to enable our members to get to know each other as informally as possible and to exchange ideas freely. In order not to unnecessarily restrict this freedom, we would like to impose only as many rules as are essential for harmonious interaction. We therefore appeal to our members to take the following guidelines to heart and to fill any gaps in content with common sense.
Netiquette
All members are required to comply with the generally accepted netiquette. This means in particular to respect the search requests of other members (" Not interested!" means "Not interested!") and to refrain from personal insults in private messages as well as public posts. Behavior that runs counter to this netiquette will be punished by warnings or - in the case of serious or repeated violations - by blocking access.
Language
As our platform is currently only active in the German-speaking DACH region, all community content must be written in German. This includes all public posts, comments, activities, groups, discussions and questions. If you live in the DACH region but do not yet speak sufficient German, you can write your content in English as an exception. There is a very pragmatic reason why English is the only exception: both most of our members and our moderation team speak this language well enough to be able to respond to and control such content. The creation of public content is therefore limited to German and English, in particular to ensure that possible violations of the Terms of Use do not go undetected.
Communities
All content created by our members is organized in communities. There are two reasons for this: Firstly, so that users who are interested in a particular topic can find all related content quickly. Secondly, so that users don't see content in their news that doesn't interest them. It is therefore very important that you always assign your posts, groups, activities etc. to the right community. For example, if you create an activity "Jogging in the park", you should assign it to the running community. If your sport or leisure activity does not yet have its own community, then assign it to "Sport & Training" or "Leisure & Hobby". You can also select up to three other thematically appropriate communities (e.g. the county that matches the specified location). Content published in thematically inappropriate communities will be moved or deleted by the support team. In the event of repeated violations, new content from affected members will be automatically hidden by the system.
Here are some special cases:
Here are some special cases:
- Funny pictures, sayings & memes: Some people think it's great to come across cute cat photos, jokes or similar in the news. But there are also people who are only here for certain topics (e.g. sports or arts). The latter don't want to have to trawl through humorous posts to find the content relevant to them. That's why we've set up our own community called "Quotes & Memes". Its content is only visible to people who have deliberately become members of this community. This means that you can simply switch posts to make you smile on and off by joining or leaving this community. However, this system only works if all members who like to share such content only do so in the designated community. Therefore, our urgent appeal: Please only publish such content in "Quotes & Memes" and not in other or additional communities!
- Selfies or self-portraits: Unfortunately, it happens again and again that members share selfies without any comment as a post on a public pinboard. However, the community pinboards are exclusively intended for sharing news, ideas, experience reports, etc. relating to the respective topic. Self-portraits without any reference to the topic of the respective community, on the other hand, belong in the photo album of your own profile!
Comments
Wherever there is a lively discussion, different opinions will surface. We ask our members to always remain objective and fair in their dialog with each other and respect the opinions of others. Respectful interaction also includes only leaving comments that actually relate to the topic of discussion. In order to prevent misunderstandings, it is also important to ensure correct spelling and to refrain from using styles of writing that are perceived as aggressive (e.g. continuous capitalization, multiple exclamation or question marks). Comments that violate these guidelines will be hidden by the support team proactively or after being reported by other members. In addition, account bans will be imposed in the event of serious or repeated violations.
Political content
Our platform is meant to be a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to experience beautiful moments. Since political content and discussions lead people to put what divides them before what they have in common, these things don't belong on our platform. Our support team will therefore proactively hide political discussions, posts and activities (e.g. joint participation in demonstrations).
Forbidden Content
Content ( texts, images, videos, links and activities) that fall into any of the following categories are generally prohibited and will be rigorously deleted by us. Violations of these bans will result in immediate account suspensions:
- Nudity or pornographic content
- Damaging or dangerous content
- Violent or graphic content
- Copyrighted content
- Misleading and fraudulent content
- Hate Messages
- Threats
- Bullying and Harassment
- Advertising/Spam
Advertising ban
In addition to the above-mentioned prohibited content, it is prohibited to advertise commercial offers and services on our platform.
For you as a member, this means that you may only create commercial events (e.g. a dance evening in a club) as an activity if the following conditions are met:
Paying Pro Members are exempt from this advertising ban. Our Pro Membership is aimed specifically at businesses from the leisure industry who would like to advertise their offers and services on our platform. Learn more

Reporting System
If you come across community content or receive messages that violate our guidelines, you should report them to us. In the case of community content, you can access our reporting function via the three-dot menu in the upper right corner; in the case of messages, via the flag icon below each individual message. The respective content will be reviewed by our support team as soon as possible and removed if necessary. The violation will be penalized accordingly. Please note, however, that content that are disturbing or inappropriate to you personally do not necessarily violate our community guidelines.

Rules for joint activities
It is important to us that there are many interesting activities advertised on our platform and that they are always carried out in a respectful and safe manner. We therefore ask you to abide by our terms and conditions and the following rules of conduct and safety.
Basic rules
To make joint activities a positive experience for both organizers and participants, please follow these basic rules:
- Be active! Regularly create activities that other users are interested in or excited about, and participate in other activities as well. Our platform thrives on joint activities and we're happy about any users, that choose to get off the couch.
- When creating activities, make sure that the activity is described as accurately as possible and that any equipment or other minimum requirements are clearly stated. Inform your participants of any costs incurred, such as entrance fees, right from the start.
- Organize your activities on our platform and use the comment and message functions provided for this purpose. Our platform should be used as the only communication tool.
- Actually take part in an activity you have signed up for. This will save effort and frustration for the organizers.
- Be responsible and considerate of other participants.
Online Security
The safety of our members is our top priority. That is why we have many automatic and manual safeguards in place (such as checking all new profiles). Ultimately, however, you are responsible for yourself, especially when sending private messages online. You should always be cautious when meeting new people and these following tips to heart:
- Keep your login details to yourself and do not share them with anyone.
- If you lose your password or if someone else has access to it, change it immediately.
- When posting activities or chatting with other users, think carefully about what information you want to share and never give out your personal or financial details (e.g. addresses, email addresses, URLs, credit card- and bank details, or even your full name) to strangers.
- If you notice that another user is violating our Terms of Use and/or Community Guidelines, please report this to our support team immediately so that we can investigate the user.
- If you feel harassed or abused by another user, please report this to our support team immediately so that we can warn or ban the user.
- If you do not want to be contacted by a user on the platform, you can simply block them. Note that they will still be able to contact you if you have already given them your email address or phone number.
- Be aware that controversial or provocative statements can cause reactions from other users. Think carefully about how and especially what you communicate on the platform (see our Social Communication Rules for more information).
- Our support team will never contact you by email to ask for personal information or to make a payment.
Offline Security
As soon as you leave our online platform and take part in offline activities, you are responsible for yourself. It is therefore very important that you always make sure if you feel comfortable and safe in any given situation. Here are some tips on how to increase your safety, protect your privacy and get the most out of social activities:
In short: Decide what you're going to do, don't let anyone tell you what to do and go with your gut feeling.
- In order to build trust before a first meeting, exchange information about common or similar interests with other participants. Use private messages or the comment function in the groups and activities.
- Be excited for the upcoming activity and the people you will meet. But don't set your expectations too high, or you'll be disappointed. You will probably all be meeting each other for the first time.
- Think carefully about who you give your surname, address and other personal details to.
- At the beginning of an activity, introduce yourself and tell the other participants how you see the activity, if you have not already done so online.
- When you meet new people, you can sometimes get nervous. Stay true to yourself, be respectful of others, and always remember: having fun is what matters, not the pressure to make friends!
- When you arrange to take part in a sporting activity, check with the other participants about their fitness levels. This will help you to plan your participation in the activity according to your fitness level, so that you don't over- or underchallenge yourself!
- Don't forget to bring the equipment or accessories you need for the activity. Did I pack my helmet for mountain biking? Have I got my climbing harness? Sun cream? This will help you enjoy the activity to the full.
- Always take your smartphone with you. If you are going to be late, you can use the messaging system or bulletin board to let the organizer or other participants know. Even during the activity, you can always contact someone or browse the app to find out what to do afterwards.
- Sometimes activities end with another activity. You might want to go out for a drink with other participants after. Don't forget to have the necessary change or your bank card with you so that you don't end up borrowing money.
- Plan your arrival and departure so that you get there and back on time.
- Want to take a friend with you to an activity who is not registered on our platform? No problem, but please ask them to register with us and officially sign up for the activity so that the organiser and other participants know about it.
- Please remember that if you as the organizer pay for tickets etc. in advance, you will get your money back. If possible, the participants should organise and pay for the tickets themselves.
In short: Decide what you're going to do, don't let anyone tell you what to do and go with your gut feeling.
Charging on of external costs
Organizers may pass on to participants certain external costs that they incur when carrying out activities. The type of expenses and the expected amount must be clearly stated in the description of the activity.
The prerequisite for this is that it is purely a provision of services. This is the case, for example, if
The charging of a flat-rate participation fee is only permitted if (1) the group is small (max. 10 participants including organizer) and if (2) there are several cost items that cannot be clearly allocated to individual participants.
It is not permitted to charge expense allowances for one's own time or services or utilization fees for goods in one's own possession (e.g. sailing boats, premises, equipment). This would be tantamount to a service or rental (see section "Advertising ban").

- a tennis court is rented and the rental price is divided by the number of participants,
- cinema tickets are purchased for an entire group,
- catering is provided for a games evening at home and passed on to the participants in the form of a flat rate.

Disclaimer
As a member, you can use our platform as a kind of digital noticeboard to participate in the activities of other members and/or to post your own activities. The following provisions apply to all agreements and contracts that you conclude with each other verbally or in writing in this context:
As an organizer or participant, you can still report members to us who you feel have treated you unfairly. Even if we are unable to help you in individual cases, we will confront the member in question with the allegations in the event of repeated reports. If the responses indicate an intention to defraud or a lack of willingness to co-operate, we will block the member.
- A contract is concluded exclusively between the organizer and the participant. As the platform operator, we are neither a representative, vicarious agent, intermediary or broker.
- We are not liable to organizers and participants for a specific outcome or for the enforceability of a contract concluded via our platforms.
- All claims of any kind arising from the conclusion or non-conclusion of a contract between organizers and participants must therefore be asserted and legally enforced by both contracting parties not against us as the platform operator, but always directly against the other contracting party.
